What is Wellness?

Does it take a pandemic to make people kinder and more compassionate?  I do believe so because never before have we heard so many expressions like “Stay safe”, “Be well”, “Fight On” shared among families and friends.

In this year of living abnormally amidst economic downturn, global racism, and political protests, somehow people have become more sympathetic and appreciative just to be alive and healthy.

Wellness has never been more important to the young and old.  Families become more bonded and supportive.  Students who are doing online learning are taking advantage of more free time to pursue other interests.  People are viewing the world with a different perspective.

Crises create opportunities therefore we should take this virus storm to reflect what we have done right and wrong and how we can improve to become better people.  Achieve wellness from both a physical and mental aspects.  So eat well, exercise, think positive so we can weather all storms big or small in the future.  This is the message qliq-a-tiq hopes to convey.
