Esther Ma, Founder

Esther Ma founded Prestique Limited in 1995 and is currently serving as its CEO. Prestique is a boutique lifestyle public relations and events management company with clients including beauty brands, luxury products, architects and designers, hospitality and sports entities, educational institutions and NGOs. Prior to founding Prestique, Esther worked for Procter & Gamble (HK) Limited as SKII Brand Manager and received the Regional SKII Brand-Building Award. In 2016, Esther co-founded Harvest Sky Enterprises Limited to nurture and support elite and aspiring athletes via opportunities in education, empowerment, events, endorsements and endowments.

Prestique has been awarded a “Caring Company” for 12 consecutive years and celebrates the 12th Anniversary of its CSR initiative “Children Charities Carnival” this year. Esther’s personal awards include AmCham/SCMP Entrepreneur of the Year, APEC’s Woman Entrepreneur Delegate (HK), China’s Top 100 Woman Entrepreneurs, Jessica 10 Most Successful Women Award, and SCMP Woman of Our Time.  Esther was the nominee of Women of Hope Award (Power and Influence) by Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation and named Ferrari International Fabulous Four Woman Entrepreneur.  Esther was also the honorary judge for Tatler Hong Kong's Gen-T 2018 Awardees. 

Esther is co-founding executive of Golden Bauhinia Woman Entrepreneurs Association, member of Diocesan Old Girls’ Association, alumni ambassador of Columbia Business School, council member of InspiringHK and Wu Zhi Qiao Charitable Foundation, founding task force member of Asian University for Women and co-founder of Femmes du Vin Asia. Esther sits on the boards of Columbia Business School Lang Entrepreneurship Centre, Chinese University Morningside College, Teach4HK and Women Helping Women Hong Kong. Esther is a Trustee of US boarding school Kent School and US junior school Indian Mountain School, both in Connecticut, U.S.A.

 

Vicky Wong, Managing Director

Vicky started her career in Advertising after her graduation from the University of Manitoba in Canada in 1990 where she studied business administration. Subsequently, she joined DDB Needham and was promoted to Account Manager in two years. Vicky serves primarily fast-moving consumer goods, arts and cultural entities, sports and corporate accounts. 

She is also the Board of Director at the Hong Kong Ballet Group , Founding Council member of Musicus Society and past President of Redford Charitable Foundation. Vicky's strengths lie in interpersonal relations, creativity and leadership for the past 22 years in PR industry.

 

Kalie Chan, Marketing Director

Kalie Chan holds a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from City University of Hong Kong. She has over 20 years of experience in leading and managing public relations and marketing projects for beauty and luxurious brands including BIOTHERM, LANCOME, POLA, FANCL, Shiseido, and more.  She has also been working closely with NGOs & charities for their events & campaigns as well as other large scale art & culture installations / projects in Hong Kong and the Greater China region for Save The Children HK, Unicef, Red Cross, Chi Heng Foundation, Lee Tung Avenue, New World Triathlon, Chinaplaz etc.  She is skilled in Marketing Management, International Business Development, Event Management, Digital Strategy, and Media Relations.

 

Mariana Kou, Advisor

Mariana Kou is chairperson and CEO of CTEH (1620:HK). Prior to this role, she was CEO of Research Study Education Group and an award-winning equity research analyst specializing in the China education industry and the global luxury goods sector. Mariana started her banking career in New York at Lehman Brothers, and was most recently Head of China Education and HK Consumer Research at brokerage and investment group CLSA, where she was involved in ten education IPOs. In 2020, she published her first book “Investing in Dragons: Education Industry and Capital Markets”. She also serves as board advisor to EDTXU:US and education ventures, and has been keynote speakers and panelists at government and industry conferences as well as interviewed regularly by international media.

Mariana was appointed Senator for China by the World Business Angels Investment Forum, an affiliated partner of the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI) in Jun 2020. She is the founder of Asia Education Society, a member of ForbesWomen Forum, and the founding co-lead of Columbia Venture Community's Hong Kong chapter. She sits on the board of Zonta Club of NTII and was also a founding committee member of Children’s Medical Foundation’s social impact fellowship program in collaboration with Dwight Hall at Yale. 

Mariana is a current student of the University of Southern California's global executive doctor of education program. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and is a graduate of Stanford Innovation and Entrepreneurship certificate program. She received her BBA from the University of Notre Dame with magna cum laude and Raymond P. Kent Award. She is a CFA charterholder and a member of global business honor society Beta Gamma Sigma and economics honor society Omicron Delta Epsilon.

 

Jennifer Cheng, Advisor

Jennifer Cheng Lo is a serial exited (over 12 exits including IPOs and Unicorns) award-winning Entrepreneur and Investor, Creator, Speaker, Podcaster, Writer, Author, Classical Concert Pianist, Actress and Model.  She is the Founder & Director of NewChic Capital (NewChicCapital.com), the Venture and Private Equity arm of her single Family Office; the Founder of JennClub (JennClub.com) a content and commerce platform empowering female investors, entrepreneurs, leaders, and changemakers; General Partner, Head of Investor Relations, of Ace Investment Management Hedge Fund (AceInvestmentMgmt.com); Founder & Director, of Glam-it! (Glamit.com) a beauty, fashion, lifestyle technology brand; Founding Advisor of Glam-it! PPE (GlamitPPE.com) a Social Enterprise founded by her 3 children; Chair of Women With Purpose (part of Society of Family Offices); Director of Business Development of The Otto Hotel (TheOtto.Hk)  Jennifer holds a Piano Performance Diploma from New England Conservatory of Music, a  BA in International Relations from Brown University, and an MBA from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.
