This is Hong Kong. The dense apartment blocks, winding stairways and hilly topography are all signature attributes of the place that I call home. 

As my city goes through a period of economic, political and social instability, the people of Hong Kong continue to persevere and ride through the tough times together, not because we want to but because this fighter's spirit is so deeply engrained in our DNA. It's during these trying times that the kindness of a stranger, the smile of a familiar face behind a surgical mask or simply a blue sky during a rainy week can make every difference. We will get through this together.
