Esther received her BA from UC Berkeley and MBA from Columbia Business School. She is a Trustee of Indian Mountain School in Connecticut, a junior boarding school where her two daughters are currently attending.
Esther is co-founding executive of Golden Bauhinia Woman Entrepreneurs Association, Committee Member of Diocesan Old Girls’ Association, Alumni Ambassador of Columbia University , council member of Wu Zhi Qiao Charitable Foundation, founding task force member of Asian University for Women and co-founder of Femmes du Vin Asia. Esther sits on the Board of Columbia Lang Entrepreneurship Centre, Chinese University Morningside College, Teach4HK and Women Helping Women Hong Kong.
Esther is author of five books – Conducting Your Job Search in Hong Kong (1992), The A to Z of PR (2005), HarvEst of the 7 Human Vines (2014) , Live and Love Life under the Basic Law (2017) and "Asia's 15 Over 50 - What's Her Next 50?" (2019).
