Esther Ma founded Prestique Limited (#prestiqueltd) in 1995 and is currently serving as its Chief Executive Officer. Prestique is a boutique lifestyle public relations and events management company with clients including beauty brands, luxury products, architects and designers, hospitality and sports entities, educational institutions and N.G.O.s. Before founding Prestique, Esther worked for Procter & Gamble (H.K.) Limited as SKII Brand Manager and received the Regional SKII Brand-Building Award. In 2016, Esther co-founded Harvest Sky Enterprises Limited (#harvest_sky) to nurture and support elite and aspiring athletes via opportunities in education, empowerment, events, endorsements and endowments. Esther also founded the online marketplace www.Qliq-a-tiq.com in November 2020, which encompasses the core competencies of Prestique and Harvest Sky with a focus on unique lifestyle offerings, education and philanthropy.
Prestique has been awarded a "Caring Company" for 12 consecutive years and celebrates the 12th Anniversary of its C.S.R. initiative "Children Charities Carnival" this year. Esther's awards include AmCham/SCMP Entrepreneur of the Year, APEC's Woman Entrepreneur Delegate (H.K.), China's Top 100 Woman Entrepreneurs, Jessica 10 Most Successful Women Award, and SCMP Woman of Our Time, and Prestige Woman of Power Award. In addition, Esther is the nominee of the Women of Hope Award (Power and Influence) by the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation and named Ferrari International Fabulous Four Woman Entrepreneur. Esther is also the honorary judge for Tatler Hong Kong's Gen-T 2018 Awardees.
Currently, Esther is First Vice President of Zonta Club of Hong Kong, co-founding executive of Golden Bauhinia Woman Entrepreneurs Association, member of Diocesan Old Girls' Association, alumni ambassador of Columbia Business School, council member of InspiringHK and Vice-Chairperson of Zhi Qiao Charitable Foundation, founding task force member of Asian University for Women and co-founder of Femmes du Vin Asia. Esther sits on the boards of the Columbia Business School Lang Entrepreneurship Centre, Chinese University Morningside College, Teach4HK and Women Helping Women Hong Kong. Esther is a Trustee of Indian Mountain School, a junior boarding school and The Kent School, a private high school in Connecticut, U.S.A.
Esther has authored five books – "Conducting Your Job Search in Hong Kong" (1992), "The A to Z of P.R." (2005), "HarvEst of the 7 Human Vines" (2014), "Live and Love Life under the Hong Kong Basic Law" (2017) and "Asia's 15 Over 50 - What's Her Next 50?" (2019). She received her B.A. degree from UC Berkeley and M.B.A. degree from Columbia Business School.
Esther has been married to Harvey Lee for 27 years, and they have two daughters, Quisha (16) and Tiqa (14). Esther enjoys golf, triathlon, squash, cooking, and painting during her leisure time.
